LAP stands for Lifelong Animal Protection – we are an all-volunteer charity based in Hong Kong established 18 years ago and gained full charity license in 2003. Our goal is to find permanent homes for abandoned and neglected companion animals in Hong Kong. We rescue abandoned animals, born strays, animals from the government kennel and animals from families who can no longer care for them. We hope to expand our social and foster network to encourage and educate more local citizens to adopt, rather than buy their companion animals from pet shops or breeders.
